
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR THE BOOKING ONLINE
Prepaid reservations can be modified by the Customer for free.
Such change could cause an increase or a decrease in the fare, related to the varied features of the rental.
If the Customer changes the reservation and new fare is higher than the prepaid amount, the Customer will be charged for the difference according to the current fares at the time that the change is done.
If the Customer changes the reservation and new fare is lower than the prepaid amount, no difference will be refunded to the Customer.
Customer is allowed to cancel the prepaid reservation up to 3 days before the pick-up date (with a minimum notice of 72 hours) the 50% of the booking prepayment will be kept, the cancellation request must be required by mail to info@carmotion.it attaching the ID card of the booking’s owner.
The refund will be arranged by CarMotion within 7 working days from the date of cancellation request in the same credit card used for the booking.
For cancellations made within 3 days before the pick-up date, the whole amount of the prepaid reservation will be kept as a penalty.
No refund is due from CarMotion if the Customer doesn’t show a credit card (VISA,MASTER CARD or AMERICAN EXPRESS) or debit card (VISA or MASTERCARD) for the guarantee,at his name, for the car rental.
No refund is due from CarMotion if the Customer doesn’t show the original documents necessary for collecting the car (VALID DRIVING LICENCE and in IDENTITY DOCUMENT for EU citizens – PASSPORT for EXTRA EU citizens).
No refund is due from CarMotion if the Customer cancels a previously modified reservation or if the Customer does not show up on the established pick-up date and has not modified or cancelled the prepaid reservation according to the above terms.
In case of delay, and in the absence of a communication from the Customer, CarMotion guarantees the delivery of the car up to 2 hours after the pick-up time of the reservation.
